Josh Turo

Josh Turo is a seasoned beverage professional with a distinguished background in wine, spirits, and hospitality leadership. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, Josh completed both his culinary training and a bachelor's degree in advanced Wines, Beverage, and Hospitality Studies, finishing his studies in the heart of Napa Valley.

Rooted in the Capital Region, Josh built his career at the iconic Yono’s in Downtown Albany, where he spent nearly a decade serving first as Head Sommelier and eventually as Managing Partner. His deep knowledge, refined palate, and commitment to guest experience have established him as one of the area’s leading voices in beverage curation and hospitality excellence.

As the Beverage Director for NeoVista Hospitality, Josh oversees all wine and beverage programming across the portfolio, bringing a guest‑driven approach to each concept. Beyond his work with NeoVista, Josh serves on the Board of Directors for Musicians of Ma’alwyck, where he teaches wine classes, and on the board of the Downtown Albany BID, contributing to the continued growth and vibrancy of the city he calls home.
